Mission Statement: Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our Mission is our purpose. In short, it is to make faithful disciples for God in order to fulfill the great commission of our Lord as revealed in Matt 28:18-20 which includes: Sharing the gospel with others, so that they may profess personal faith in Christ and as a result be born again and become children of God. Bring all Christians to spiritual maturity by teaching them to obey all that God has commanded them in His Word through the power of God's Holy Spirit. Send mature and trained disciples into ministry to serve the Lord and extend His Kingdom.

Our vision is our goal for extending our mission. It is to fulfil the great commission of our Lord. It is to make disciples in an ever-widening circle and includes - Jerusalem (Alton/Lakes Region) - Judea & Samaria (New England) Ends of the earth (USA & Around the World)
Our Beliefs
- We believe the 66 books of the Canon of scripture is the only inspired trustworthy and true, Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We look to it as the only inerrant and authoritative basis for all our beliefs. We believe it represents an accurate account of historical events of the past and events yet to happen in the future.
- We believe there is only one God who eternally exists and who revealed himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit who possesses the attributes of God alone. (Matthew 28:19)
- We believe Jesus Christ is God, eternal, and in unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for our sin which was made possible by the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross (II Cor.5:21), His sacrifice, His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1, Matthew 1:18,25, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 9:15-22, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 9:27-28)
- We believe that every individual must receive Christ and his offer of forgiveness of sins in order to be saved (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
- We believe in the Holy eternal Spirit, who is God, father and son, who lives within each believer and guides Christians, so they are enabled to live godly lives. (John 14:15-26, John 16:5-16, Ephesians 1:13-14)
- We believe in eternal life where we will spend eternity with the Lord in heaven. We believe that those rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, will receive eternal suffering in hell (Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
- We believe that all believers are members of his body, the Church. (Philippians 2:1-4)
- We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ's example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:6-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
